The combination of skincare and biotechnology leads to the latest developments and groundbreaking innovations.
AROCELL™ effectively treats and activates skin cells to help you restore and maintain your naturally radiant appearance.
Originally, Botulinum toxin was known exclusively for injections under various brand names.
Korean researchers have now successfully advanced Botulinum toxin into a novel, globally patented molecule, creating a new paradigm in Botulinum toxin system cosmetics.

AROCELL™ The Injection-Free Botulinum System Cosmetics
In biotechnological research on skin aging, muscle contractions, mimic wrinkles, and nerve changes, Korean researchers at Seoul University have succeeded in isolating a novel Botulinum toxin A peptide. This peptide is delivered transdermally without injections into the deeper skin layers, where it naturally relaxes mimic muscles, contributing to long-lasting skin rejuvenation.
Previously, Botulinum toxin A applications were restricted to medical professionals, as treatment errors could lead to severe side effects and difficult-to-correct muscle paralysis.
Through a global patent, a specific peptide derived from Botulinum toxin A was coupled with a membrane protein, rendering it non-toxic to nerves while retaining its relaxing effect on mimic muscles. This peptide (Methionyl-r-Clostridium Botulinum Polypeptide-1 Hexapeptide-40) is formulated in a unique way to penetrate deep into the skin, relax wrinkle-causing muscles, and inhibit nerve activity. These nerves not only influence muscle activity but also alleviate migraines and facial pain.

The History of Botulinum Toxin
The German physician Dr. Justinus Christian Kerner (1786–1862) first described in 1817 the physiological effects of the disease caused by Botulinum toxin, which led to numerous fatalities through paralysis of respiratory or cardiac muscles.
Although the pathogen of botulism was isolated only in 1897, Dr. Kerner recognized early on the therapeutic potential of the neurotoxin and envisioned its use for treating increased muscle tone. It took 150 years until the substance became fully applicable for therapeutic purposes.
Botulinum Toxin
Here you see pure Botulinum toxin type A at a molecular size with a molecular weight of 150 kDa (kilodaltons). This molecule is exclusively suitable for injection and should only be administered by experienced physicians.

Needle-Free Botulinum Toxin
Here you see pure Botulinum toxin type A at a molecular size with a molecular weight of 50 kDa (kilodaltons), attached to a macromolecular transfer domain (MTD = macromolecule transmission domain). This novel molecule penetrates the epidermal membrane needle-free in a revolutionary cream formulation.
