What are exosomes?
Exosomes are structured like liposomes, but much smaller. They contain growth factors and peptides in their shell for cell regeneration and energy production in cellular metabolism.
In living cells, the produced growth factors migrate to the cell membrane, are then pinched off, and enter the extracellular matrix (ECM). There they seek the membranes of neighboring cells and fuse with them. This is how cell-to-cell communication works. This leads to a visible improvement in the skin’s appearance.
